I LOVE Pinterest! Who doesn’t? One of my favorite things to do on Pinterest is pin great content related to motherhood, marriage, homemaking, and parenting. Today I am teaming up with my fellow Homeschool Post authors to unveil some of our favorite things on Pinterest related to homeschooling.
I am going to breakdown all of my homeschool boards, and share some of my favorite homeschool pins on each board. Hopefully you will find some great content that can help you in your homeschooling journey!
This board contains a wide variety of homeschooling posts. Posts on this board may not fit into other categories, and can include pretty much anything related to homeschooling. Most of the pins on here are related to learning, whether it be grammar, reading, math, history or other topics. My favorite pin on this board is this homeschooling infographic.
I LOVE celebrating special occasions in our homeschool. Ideas for the 100th day of school, Not Back to School Traditions, End of Year celebrations and more are all on this board. My favorite pin on this board is this one for the 100th day of school. We have used this printable every year and it is fun seeing the kids idea of what “news” is and how their answers change each year.
Our homeschool group has decided to do literature unit studies three times a year. What this means is, as a family we read a book chosen by the homeschool group. We then get together for two all day sessions to learn about the book in a unit study setting. This year we are studying Little House on the Prairie. In years passed we focused on American Girls like Felicity, Addy and Kit. On this board you will find activities related to literature unit studies for your homeschool.
My favorite pin on this board, is this Little House on the Prairie Party Pin. While searching for activities for our unit study I came across it and was able to plan out my oldest 10th birthday party!
Even though I am not a homeschool newbie, this is one of my favorite boards! I have it set up just for my readers. If I see a pin that I think would appeal to those new with homeschooling, I pin it. I have shared before, that God laid ministering to new homeschool moms on my heart, so this is just one way that I get to do that. My favorite pin on this board is this Three Encouraging Tips for Homeschool Moms pin. I wish I had more encouragement when I first began homeschooling, so I feel that this article would be perfect for a homeschool newbie!
Homeschool moms love to print right? This board has tons of printables for your homeschool! My favorite one is the all about me printables. I love that they have an option for the first and last day of school. Great to look back at in a few years and see what is changed!
Even seasoned homeschool moms need tips and encouragements. Every year something changes, and I seek out advice from those who have been there before. That is what this board is all about. My favorite pin is Seven ways a mom can waste a homeschool year. Why? Because we have ALL been there!
Homeschool planning and organization is important for a successful homeschool! On this board you will find everything you need to organize and plan out your homeschool year. My favorite pin on this board is this one, which is all about organizing your homeschool in a small house. My house is small compared to most, and it is hard sometime to organize all you need for homeschooling in a small place
I hope you have enjoyed a peek into my homeschool boards! Head on over to the Homeschool Post to see what the other writers shared with you on their homeschooling with pinterest collection!
